NANTUCKET – The Nantucket Historical Association is once again holding a unique fundraising event later this month.

Museum After Dark returns to bring together the next generation of supporters on Saturday, July 23 at 8 p.m. at the Whaling Museum on Broad Street.

The late-night event combines the backdrop of the Whaling Museum with the festive spirit of a summer bash and includes views of Nantucket Harbor from the museum’s rooftop observation deck, Tucker’s Roofwalk.

Attendees will take to the dance floor as DJ Pete Ahern of Audio Architects spins tunes.

The night will feature cocktails and food in the museum’s great hall.

Museum After Dark raises funds for the NHA’s year-round community education and preservation efforts.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at nha.org/tickets or by calling 508-228-1894.

The NHA’s mission is to tell the story of the island through its collections, programs and properties.
