MARTHA’S VINEYARD – The latest Martha’s Vineyard low numbered license plate auction is set to get underway online.
It begins December 3rd.
An online survey soliciting feedback on what numbers the public would like to bid on is now open and will conclude on Thursday, November 29th.
There will be ten plates up for bid, the numbers 1-5 and 100 are being withheld for a future auction. Each available plate will have a starting bid of $2,000 to $2,500 depending on demand and will be awarded to the highest bidder. Each available plate can be purchased out of the auction for $10,000 in a buy-it now option.
Funds from the auction go to support Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Driving the Future Charitable Fund, a collaborative between MVCS and the permanent Endowment for Martha’s Vineyard.
