NANTUCKET – The Nantucket community is being asked for their input on the proposed 2017-2018 school-year calendar by Nantucket Public School officials.
The four-question survey, available on the school’s website, asks if people are or not in favor of a two week vacation in March and if they would be in favor of combining winter (February) and spring (April) vacations into one, two-week vacation in the month of March.
It also asks if people would be interested in starting school prior to Labor Day in order to have school released for summer break earlier in June.
