NANTUCKET – Nantucket Cottage Hospital held its annual meeting last month and presented awards to community members who have supported the organization in extraordinary ways.
The Sandy Craig Leadership Award was given to Bruce & Elisabeth Percelay, who donated $10 million for the new hospital.
The inaugural Seinfeld/Hartmann Prize for Compassionate Medical Care was awarded to emergency department nurse Dani Brunelle.
The Myrt Eldridge Volunteer Award, which is given to the hospital volunteer who best exemplifies self-less dedication to the betterment of the hospital and commitment to its patients, was presented to visiting neurologist John Stakes.
Stop & Shop and Pacific National Bank were presented with Phil Murray Business Awards.
