Nantucket Daffodil Festival Kicks Off Today

Event the dogs are dressed up for Daffodil Festival.

NANTUCKET- Residents and visitors to Nantucket are breaking out the pruning shears, potting soil, and even classic cars for the launch of the 44th annual Nantucket Daffodil Festival today.

The festival will include art shows, tours, parades, antique car exhibits, and most important, the American Daffodil Society approved flower show being held at Bartlett’s Ocean View Farm, and sponsored by the Nantucket Garden Club.

Admission to the flower show is free, but donations will be accepted toward the Garden Club’s Daffodil Planting Fund.
