NANTUCKET – Nantucket Cottage Hospital is beginning the official move to its new facility, administrative offices will begin the transfer tomorrow.
The HIM Department, commonly known as medical records, will be closed for the day as staff packs and organizes for the move.
Hospital officials say if a patient needs his or her records during the move they will do their best to accommodate those making the request.
The new hospital expects to open for patient care Wednesday, February 20th.
