NANTUCKET – Nantucket’s largest yard sale returns later this month to benefit the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum.
Thousands of items will be for sale at bargain prices on Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18 under the greenhouses at Bartlett’s Farm.
Visitors will be able to check out rows of antique chests and tables, and gently used furniture, along with browsing for tables of linens, lamps, cookware, artwork, collectibles, toys and household odds and ends.
The event draws hundreds of guests and is the largest fundraiser each year for the basket museum, which is devoted to the historic craft and artisans.
The yard sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Museum volunteers gather the thousands of donated items throughout the year from island estates or from local businesses.
