National Seashore Announces December Activities

WELLFLEET–The Cape Cod National Seashore has announced their offerings for December.

Beaches and trails remain open, except during instances of severe weather. The Salt Pond Visitor Center is always open to provide trip planning and other forms of assistance.

“Explore and Learn” tables are available on weekends until December 22, and on a daily basis from December 26 to January 1. Attendees can learn about seashore resources via hands-on activities. The tables are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The trimming of the “Nature Tree” will be held December 14 from noon to 2 p.m. at the visitor center. While there, guests can browse the art and see the film “Standing Bold” during an open house.

The 2008 Disney-Pixar animated film “WALL-E” will be shown on December 29 at 1:30 p.m.
