EASTHAM – Artist Erica Wheeler will celebrate the nature and history of Cape Cod during a concert of song, story, and humor at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham on June 28.
Through her engaging and entertaining programs, Erica creates sense of place and belonging that is needed in the world today.
Hallmarks of her program include her warm vocals, poetic lyrics, folk/acoustic/Americana music, interactive songs-on-the-spot, and her wry sense of humor.
Erica is an award-winning songwriter, TEDx speaker, educator, and professional development trainer.
She has offered programs that connect people and place across the country, from Yosemite National Park to Walden Woods.
Her latest CD, “Good Summer Rain,” was sponsored in part by the Trust for Public Land, a national land conservation organization.
The upcoming program is part of the annual “Tuesday Evening Series” at the Salt Pond Visitor Center.
Held weekly at 7 p.m. in the summer in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium, programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources on the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages.
Programs are free of charge and accessible.
