WELLFLEET – The Cape Cod National Seashore is offering fun summertime activities for all ages, from guided walks and evening programs, to more immersive programs that dive deeper into the seashore’s recreational opportunities.
Some of the activities include surf casting, canoe and kayak tours, and salt marsh explorations. Equipment is provided by the National Seashore.
In addition to enjoying recreation in nature, the Cape’s maritime history is also available to be explored through Eastham’s Captain Penniman House, Three Sisters, and Nauset Light, Higgins House in Wellfleet, Highland Light in Truro, and Old Harbor Life-Saving Station in Provincetown.
For more information about Cape Cod National Seashore programs, the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham and the Province Lands Visitor Center in Provincetown are available from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Schedules of activities are also available at go.nps.gov/capecodadventure.
