Cape Cod National Seashore to Host Winter Film Festival

EASTHAM – Now in its 11th year, this year’s Cape Cod National Seashore Annual Winter Film Festival features fan favorites from years past.

Timeless classics will show for free on a theater-size screen with surround sound. Films will show at 1:30 pm at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham on six consecutive Sundays through March 10th.

This Sunday’s presentation will be The Perfect Storm, a biographical disaster drama which tells the story of the Andrea Gail, a commercial fishing vessel caught in the “perfect storm” of 1991.

Other films to be shown include Oscar-winning family-friendly documentary March of the Penguins; Moby Dick Based on the Herman Melville classic; Master and Commander a dramatic thriller set during the Napoleonic Wars; A Night to Remember: Titanic a 1958 film following the harrowing tale as tragedy strikes the RMS Titanic during its ill-fated maiden voyage.
