Native American History Walk Series to Begin in April

HARWICH – Ever been interested in learning more about the history of Cape Cod and its earliest settlers?

Next month, the Harwich Conservation Trust (HCT) has you covered.

Join 12th generation Cape Codder Todd Kelley and native Nipmuc/Wampanoag Marcus Hendricks for a fascinating series of interpretive walks. Explore the history of Cape Cod from the First People and early European settlers to the nature of the Cape today.

This is an engaging three walk series that follows a progressive story line about human settlement near freshwater sources and coastal water embayments.

The walks will take place in Harwich on April 6, Brewster on April 13, and Dennis on April 20.

Admission to the walking series is $45. Directions will be emailed to participants following registration and payment confirmation.

The walking series is sponsored by the Harwich Conservation Trust, Brewster Conservation Trust, and Dennis Conservation Trust.
