EASTHAM – It’s been a championship weekend for high school sports teams from Cape Cod.
The Nauset Regional High School Warriors boys soccer team captured their first Div. 2 state title since 1979 on Saturday.
They picked up a near-flawless 2-1 win over Masconomet at Manning Field in Lynn. The win kept Nauset undefeated for the season.
Also picking up a state title on Saturday was the Barnstable High School girls volleyball team.
The Red Raiders swept the Newton North Tigers for their 18th Div. 1 title.
