Nauset Model Railroaders Ready for 2018 Summer Season

ORLEANS-  The Nauset Model Railroad Club is inviting train lovers of all ages to watch the miniature cities, towns, farms, and more come to life at the club’s headquarters this summer.

Club members will be on hand to answer any questions on all aspects of model railroading and how to participate in the hobby, and club.

Now in its 29th year, the Nauset Model Railroad Club has more than 85 members from teen to senior – a mix of active collectors with train layouts, experienced modelers and authors, newcomers to the hobby, and others who simply enjoy learning and talking about railroading.

The club meets weekly, year-round, to run trains, build models, watch videos, have clinics and share experiences.

The five models that will be on display for this year’s summer event will be open 6 until 8 p.m. each July and August Wednesday.

And club work sessions will be held on the second, third and fourth Fridays of every month from 7-9 p.m.
