NANTUCKET – The Walk-In Service at Nantucket Cottage Hospital will reopen for the summer season beginning next week.
The service offers easy and convenient access to medical care for non-life-threatening conditions without an appointment or a trip to the ER.
Walk-In Care is the place to come on the island to treat a range of ailments, including coughs, colds and viruses, sore throat, minor scrapes and cuts, sunburns, asthma flares, back pain, illnesses, rashes, earaches, infections, tick bites, minor bone injuries, slips and falls, muscle pain and sprains, and respiratory and urinary tract infections.
Hours for the walk-in service are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday.
The service opens for the season Monday, June 18.
