NANTUCKET – Nantucket Cottage Hospital’s Walk-In Care Service will reopen for the summer season beginning Sunday.

The service offers easy and convenient access to medical care for non-life-threatening conditions without an appointment or a trip to the ER.

Walk-In Care is the place to come on the island to treat a range of ailments, including coughs, colds and viruses, sore throat, minor scrapes and cuts, sunburns, asthma flares, back pain, illnesses, rashes, earaches, infections, tick bites, minor bone injuries, slips and falls, muscle pain and sprains, and respiratory and urinary tract infections.

Hours for the walk-in service are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday.

Patients should park in the main NCH parking lot to access the Walk-In Care Service at the Anderson Building on the hospital campus.

The service runs from June 16 through September 6.
