Meteorologist Tim Kelley to Deliver Community College Commencement Address

HYANNIS-  Cape Cod Community College will welcome back to campus, 1984 Alumnus, and current NECN/NBC 10 Boston meteorologist Tim Kelley as its commencement speaker this year.

“I’m extremely pleased to have Tim accept our request to speak to this year’s graduates.  He’s in the midst of a great career, launched here at Cape Cod Community College, and I’m sure his story and perspective on the community college experience will be very compelling to our graduates, families, and friends,” said college president, Dr. John Cox.

A Cape Cod native, Kelley grew up in a family of fishermen and builders. While attending 4 C’s, Kelley focused on math, science, and communication, earning an Associate of Science Degree in 1984.

Kelley has been a meteorologist with NECN since the station’s launch, as New England Cable News, in 1992.

This year’s commencement ceremonies at 4 c’s will get underway on May 24th at 4 p.m. at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis.
