Barnstable Municipal Airport Ready for New Management

 

HYANNIS – As Barnstable Municipal Airport Manager Bud Breault prepares to retire, the Airport has hired a certified commercial pilot with experience in the field to take the place of Assistant Airport Manager Katie Servis, who will take the position of Manager upon Breault’s departure.

Matt Elia has experience in aviation management, he was Assistant Airport Manager of the New Bedford Airport, the Airport Manager for the City of Tavares Seaplane Base in Tavares, Florida and Assistant Manager and Operations Manager for the Mansfield Airport.

He also has served as an adjunct Faculty Member for Daniel Webster College teaching general airport operations. In addition he is  a certified flight instructor.

Changes in the airport management are expected to take place when Breault steps down at the end of the month.
