BARNSTABLE – The Governor’s Council has confirmed Ned Lynch as an Associate Justice in Barnstable District Court.
Lynch, a former Assistant District Attorney with the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office, was nominated by Gov. Charlie Baker in December. The Governor’s Council unanimously approved Lynch’s appointment this week.
“Ned Lynch is an accomplished attorney with exceptional temperament, intelligence and interpersonal skills,” said Baker.
Lynch previously served as a criminal defense attorney with a private firm.
“I am very proud of Ned,” said District Attorney Michael O’Keefe. We will miss him but he will be a great asset to the bench. Governor Baker made and excellent selection and the Council agreed.
