New Barnstable Superintendent Could Be Named Soon

barnstable high schoolBARNSTABLE – A new Barnstable Public Schools Superintendent could be named tomorrow.

The School Committee has scheduled interviews with the three finalists for the position today at Barnstable Intermediate School.

Those finalists include Fall River Schools Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown, Holliston Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Sara Ahern and Wilmington Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Kathleen Burnham.

The School Committee will then meet tomorrow at 5 p.m. to discuss the interviews and could name a new superintendent.

Mary Czajkowski previously held the position of Barnstable Public Schools Superintendent for four years before leaving in July to take the Superintendent position in Lexington.

School attorney William Butler has been serving as interim superintendent.
