SANDWICH – A new charity golf tournament will tee off this fall to benefit less fortunate children on Cape Cod.

Secure Networks will host the inaugural “Cape Cod Vintage Classic” on Wednesday, October 10 at the Ridge Club in Sandwich.

The event is a new style of tournament for Cape Cod as each foursome will participate in a scramble format and will be provided with a 1920s era set of golf clubs to be used during select holes.

The cost is $200 per player and includes lunch, access to a free beverage cart and scotch tasting, and hors d’oeuvres following the tournament.

There will also be a putting contest with the winner receiving a seven night stay in a top resort for two people.

There will also be four Hole-in-One contests with prizes that include a Pebble Beach vacation, a Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip a Final Four package and $10,000.

A grand finale drawing will allow four players to shoot out for a $100,000 hole-in-one.

Prizes will also be given for the longest drives.

The event will benefit the Cape Vintage Classic Fund which is part of the non-profit Cape Cod Foundation and will support underprivileged youth.
