NANTUCKET – The calendar has turned to December and that means it is once again time for A Night of Holiday Magic on Nantucket.

For the seventh straight year the Nantucket Historical Association presents the community holiday celebration for all-ages, A Night of Holiday Magic, Saturday at the Whaling Museum from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event captures the spirit of the season for families on the island among the museums Festival of Trees and features live acts.

Holiday songs will be performed by the Accidentals & Naturals and Nantucket High School’s honor chorus.

Selections from “The Nutcracker” will also be performed by the youth dancers of Nantucket Ballet.

A Night of Holiday Magic also features a festive photobooth, arts and crafts throughout the museum, a holiday I-Spy activity, costumed characters and winter treats.

The event is free for children and NHA members and only $5 for adults.
