Nine Area Funders Partner to Strengthen Local Nonprofit Sector

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) has launched Year 2 of its core certificate program on Cape Cod through a unique funder collaborative.

Nine funders have underwritten the costs of INP’s nonprofit leadership development program.

The program is affiliated with Tuft University’s Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life.

The participating funders include The Cape Cod Foundation, The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.

“Last year’s pilot program on the Cape was extremely successful,” said Cape Cod Foundation President and CEO Kristin O’Malley. “We are grateful that the Institute for Nonprofit Practice is continuing to offer the program here and that the funders are continuing to support this vital initiative.”
