HYANNIS – The Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod and the Islands (CLI) is now accepting nominations for its 17th annual Community Leadership Award.
The award is given out annually to an individual who has made significant leadership contributions to the Cape Cod community.
Recipients are selected from nominations submitted to the CLI Board of Directors.
Criteria for nominating and selecting a winner includes living or working in the Cape Cod community, community service involvement, and leadership contributions to the community.
Past winners include Joel Crowell, of the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod; Shawn Delude, of Nantucket Disposal; and Beth Marcus, of Cape Cod Beer.
The Leadership Award is presented during the Leadership Cape Cod commencement ceremony on June 13. It will be held at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis.
Nominations should be submitted through the CLI website, clicapecod.org, by May 3.
