MARTHA’S VINEYARD – Former President Barack Obama will return to Martha’s Vineyard with his family this weekend.

The former First Family is expected to stay about two weeks. They will reportedly stay in Chilmark again this year, according to the Martha’s Vineyard Times.

Obama and family visited Martha’s Vineyard every year during his presidency, except 2012, when Obama was running for re-election.

This trip is expected to garner less attention than previous visits during Obama’s tenure in the Oval Office. The State Police and Secret Service will still be providing security details while the Obamas are on the island.

In previous years, the first family flew Air Force One into Joint Base Cape Cod before taking Marine One to the island. The same airspace restrictions will not be in place this year.
