Artist Georgia O’Keeffe To Be Subject Of Appreciation Course And Trip

CAPE COD – Georgia  O’Keeffe, one of the most iconic American artists, will be the subject of the Cape Conservatory’s upcoming session of art appreciation.

Her works incorporate restrained color pallets, organic silhouettes, compact masses and much more

Classes will be held at both of the conservatory’s campuses, which are in Falmouth and West Barnstable, and begin in early February.

There will also be a bus trip to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem which is presenting an O’Keeffe exhibit entitled “Art, Image, Style”.  Along with her artwork, the museum is displaying her photographs and even garments, some never before seen.

You do not need to be enrolled in the lecture series to go on the bus trip.
