Old Palmer Avenue Bridge Construction Begins Today

FALMOUTH – A seven month project to replace the timber bridge on Old Palmer Avenue in Falmouth begins today.

The bridge will remain open to local traffic, but all other traffic will be detoured. Bike detours will also be in place.

The bridge will be re-opened for the upcoming Cape Cod Half Marathon later this month. Officials hope to have the new bridge in use by Memorial Day.
