COTUIT – Jazz vocalist Donna Scheer will star in a one woman show at the Cotuit Center for The Arts.
The show, titled “It’s Delovely”, takes a look at a recovering romantic’s love, longing and life. She describes the performance as “a cabaret on steroids inching closer to vaudeville.”
There will be costume and prop changes for different songs, one of which will contain a trivia quiz. There will also be singalongs and a bowl of quotations to be shared with the audience.
Scheer, who grew up in Chicago, has spent time in Boston and performed at numerous venues on the Cape.
She will be accompanied by pianist Charlie Jamieson, who she met years ago at the Nobska House.
The show will run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between February 8th and the 25th. There will also be Sunday matinees.
