MASHPEE – Community Health Center of Cape Cod is hosting an online auction this month to support services.
The nonprofit provides access to health care for adults and children regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
The Bid for Good Health online auction runs through noon on June 21 and includes more than 60 packages on which to bid.
Packages include trips to Napa, Mexico, and South Carolina, local excursions, art, sports memorabilia and one-of-a-kind experiences.
The auction can be found at chcofcapecod.org. Donated items for the auction are still being accepted.
Proceeds from the auction will support services that the health center offers but are not always reimbursable through insurance, including health education, assessment of transportation, financial and housing barriers to care and insurance enrollment services.
The health center relies on the good will and generosity of the community to help meet its mission.
The Community Health Center has locations in Mashpee, Falmouth, Bourne and Centerville. Services include primary and preventive care, dental care, behavioral health, women’s health, optometry, pharmacy, and coordinated case management.
