YARMOUTH- Officials with the Yarmouth Police Department have announced they will once again activate their 14th annual “Operation Safe Ride Home” Friday, March 8th, 2019 starting at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 2:00 a.m. Saturday.
The program is fully funded by local Yarmouth area businesses and involves a free and safe ride home to anyone from any Yarmouth liquor establishment by calling Town Taxi at 508.775.5555.
Additional YPD patrol officers will also be on duty targeting impaired drivers and any other motor vehicle violations during this time as well.
Drunk driving is a very serious crime with often tragic consequences.
