HARWICH – The Harwich Conservation Trust is seeking volunteers for its annual Tour de Trash on the last Saturday of the month.
The Tour de Trash is an effort to build community pride and to keep the roads and trails of Harwich litter free.
Last year, over 100 volunteers participated to pick up over 800 pounds of trash from woodlands, trails and roadsides. Organizers hope to surpass that total at this year’s event.
The cleanup effort is Saturday, April 28 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will begin and end at the Harwich Community Center on Oak Street.
Lunch will be provided following the cleanup.
