ORLEANS – Bridge Road in Orleans will be closed down for the next week and a half while construction continues on the bridge crossing Boat Meadow Creek.
The ongoing work has resulted in lane restrictions on the span this fall, but now the construction requires the bridge to be shut down to traffic.
The bridge is scheduled to fully re-open on November 18 and will be open during non-work hours.
Water main construction is planned on Bridge Road from Bayview Road to the Orleans town line beginning on November 18. That project is scheduled to wrap up December 8.
