ORLEANS – Orleans residents are gearing up for town meeting next month.
It takes place May 13th.
Items on the ballot include a $47 million waste water project, an increase in local excise taxes, acquiring land for conservation easements on Sipson’s Island and Lonnie’s Pond, among other articles.
The Orleans Citizens Forum is holding an informational session on the warrant this week.
The panel discussing the proposals includes Selectmen Chair Alan McClennan, Finance Committee Chair Lynn Bruneau, wastewater Consultant Tom Parece, and the executive director of the Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts, Mark Robinson.
The forum is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th, at the Orleans Senior Center at 3:30.
