Orleans Citizens Forum to Hold Discussion on DPW Buildings Plans

ORLEANS – The Orleans Citizens Forum will present a panel discussion updating the plans for the DPW buildings on Wednesday, May 3 at 3 p.m.

The forum will be held in the Orleans Senior Center and is open to everyone.

Members of the panel will provide a history of the project, as well as describe the make-up, current facilities and needs of the department.

An overview of the planning criteria, building design, technical issues and cost estimates will also be discussed.

Following the panelists’ introductory remarks, the forum will be opened for a question and answer period from the audience.

The panel will include Selectman Jon Fuller, Orleans DPW and Natural Resources Director Tom Daley and Project Manager at Weston and Sampson Jeff Alberti.
