Orleans Citizens Forums Planned

 

ORLEANS – The Orleans Public Forum is holding two meetings in advance of the Orleans Special Town Meeting on October 29th, the two Forums are scheduled for Thursday, October 25th.

The two sessions will review Warrant articles addressing Nauset Beach restoration, Wastewater betterments and proposed bylaws on marijuana cultivation and retail sales. Members of the town’s Board of Selectmen, Finance Committee, Planning Department and Natural Resources will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns. \

“This is an important opportunity to get information and ask questions on these three critical issues,” said George Walsh, Chair of the Forum. “We urge everyone to attend one of the October 25th forums as well as Special Town Meeting October 29th.”

The sessions will both be held on the 25th, one is scheduled from 3:30 to 5 and the second from 6 to 7:30 at the Orleans Senior Center.
