Orleans Now Accepting Applications to Sell Christmas Trees

ORLEANS – Haven’t joined the national retail outlets yet in advertising Christmas goods before Halloween?

The Orleans Board of Selectmen and the Town Administrator’s Office are now accepting applications for the sale of Christmas Trees for the holiday season.

Local businesses and non-profit organizations selling Christmas Trees in the town that are not a licensed nursery must obtain a General License from the Board of Selectmen.

Applications must be filed at least four weeks prior to the first day of sale.

For more information regarding rules and regulations for the sale of Christmas Trees can be found on the town’s website.
