Orleans Senior Center Announces Events and Activities for November

ORLEANS – The Orleans Senior Center is announcing a list of events scheduled throughout the month of November.

The center is hosting a Veteran’s Day luncheon on Wednesday November 7^th, from 11:00 a.m. with a pinning ceremony, remarks from Representative Sarah Peake, and a presentation by the Heroes in Transition Canine program. Lunch will be served at 12:00. 

Pre-registration is required as space is limited. The event is free, priority will be given to Orleans Seniors.

On Wednesday November 28th at 2:00 pm the center will host a Genealogy Workshop, and on Friday, November 30 will be serving a buffet dinner.

The center is also partnering with Cape Cod Cares for the Troops throughout the month to accept donations of toiletry items for U.S. military personnel around the world.  

Finally, join Karen for exercise and fun on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm beginning November 20th.  It’s a seven week session at a cost of $35.00.
