Osterville Bank of Cape Cod Branch to Remain Open After Merger

The Osterville branch of the Bank of Cape Cod will remain open after the merger with Rockland Trust is completed later this year.

OSTERVILLE – Rockland Trust plans to keep the Bank of Cape Cod’s Osterville branch open after the merger of the two banks is completed.

The Osterville location will join Rockland Trust’s other 12 Cape Cod locations in Bourne, Centerville, Chatham, Falmouth, Hyannis, Mashpee, Orleans, Sandwich, South Yarmouth and West Dennis.

Last month Rockland Trust signed an agreement to acquire Bank of Cape Cod. The merger is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016.

For convenience during the transition, all Bank of Cape Cod members can use any Rockland Trust ATM in Massachusetts for withdrawals free of charge.
