Osterville Village Library Announces Upcoming Author Talk Featuring Annie Hartnett

OSTERVILLE-  The Osterville Village Library will host an ‘Author Talk with Annie Hartnett’ featuring her debut novel this July.

“Rabbit Cake” is the darkly comic novel about a young girl named Elvis trying to figure out her place in a world without her mother.

Published in 2017, the book was named one of the best reads of the year by Kirkus Review and also made the finals list for the New England Book Award, among others.

During the talk, Hartnett will read the first chapter and stay for a book signing and FAQ session with the author.

The event will take place on Monday, July 9th at 3:00pm.

The mission of the Osterville Village Library’s is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen the surrounding community with the help of library staff, collections, programs and communal participation.
