Osterville Village Library Goes Cranberry crazy

OSTERVILLE – During the month of November, the Osterville Village Library will be celebrating 200 years of cranberries.

They will present a program called “Rhapsody in red”, a traveling cranberry exhibit, where people can see and learn about all things cranberry.

“We are excited to have an educational and fun display about the importance of Cranberries on Cape Cod,” said Executive Director Cyndy Cotton.

During the month there will be special days, such as Cooking and Crafts on Saturday the 4th and Cranberries 101 on the 9th, featuring Brian Wick, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association.

Cranberries are Massachusetts’ #1 agricultural crop.   These events are free and the library is open 7 days a week.

The library’s mission is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen the community.  For more information you can visit their website OstervilleVillageLibrary.org
