Osterville Village Library Receives $20K Grant for Mobile Makerspace

OSTERVILLE – A $20,000 Horizon Foundation grant was awarded to the Osterville Village Library to support a Community Makerspace.

The 21st Century lab will help youth and adults learn emerging digital media technologies.

Library Executive Director Cyndy Cotton says the library will purchase a 3D printer and a dozen laptops with specs for 3D design and virtual reality technology for the mobile makerspace.

The Horizon Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process.
