Outer Cape Health Services Receives High Scores from State DPH

HARWICH PORT – Outer Cape Health Services recently passed a state Department of Public Health survey with no deficiencies.

The DPH visited the organization’s clinics in Provincetown, Wellfleet and Harwich.

The inspector extensively reviewed patients’ records and conducted interviews with patients, family members and staff.

“This deficiency-free result from the state’s rigorous examination process validates the close attention OCHS providers and staff place on patient safety every day,” said Alexis Keeler, the organization’s director of quality and compliance. “Each facility was thoroughly surveyed and rated on core criteria including quality care, safety, administration and patient rights.”

Outer Cape Health Services served 16,800 residents and visitors on the Lower and Outer Cape in 2016 and annually conducts more than 70,000 patient visits.
