Outer Cape Heath Services Announces New COO

HARWICH – Outer Cape Health Services, based in Harwich, has announced the appointment of a new member to their leadership team. Jean Callum will serve as the organizations new Chief Operating Officer.

Callum has worked on behalf of community health centers for more than three decades, most recently serving as Outer Cape’s Chief Information Officer and Director of Ancillary Services.

“In her six years with us, Jean has led many key program expansions including new OCHS radiology and pharmacy services in addition to technology enhancements that have significantly strengthened the organization and our patient experience,” according to Patricia Nadle, Chief Executive Officer of OCHS. 

“We are confident that Jean’s acumen and commitment to community health will only further improve the patient experience and the efficiencies of the services we provide on the Lower and Outer Cape.”

Callum, who holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Health Services Administration from University of Michigan, said she is excited about the opportunity.

“As Outer Cape Health Services celebrates 30 years of incorporation this year, I could not think of a more meaningful time to work in the capacity of COO in the decade ahead,” she said,  “As COO, I will always have the health of our patients—and the organization as a whole—at top of mind. 

I am honored to be entrusted with this next important opportunity in service to a community that I also call home.”
