WELLFLEET – The Outer Cape police departments of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown are partnering with Cape Cabs and Pride Taxi on Operation Safe Ride.
On New Year’s Eve and into New Years day, people can get a free cab ride home from a licensed establishment.
Customers need to be sure to mention Operation Safe Ride when ordering the cab.
Operation Safe Ride will start on Wednesday, December 31 at 10 p.m. and go to 4 a.m. on Thursday, January 1.
