BARNSTABLE – Line painting is planned for the next week for all seven villages in Barnstable.
The Barnstable Department of Public Works will be repainting the yellow center line and the white edge lines on all the town’s major and main roads.
The work will be done overnight, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work begins Thursday and will last until June 29.
It will take about 15 minutes for the lines to dry, and town officials are asking residents to not cross the lines immediately after the painting is complete.
