Panel Discussion to Focus on Growing Caregiver Needs

A “Caring Across America” book tour featuring “The Age of Dignity: Preparing for the Elder Boom in a Changing America” by Ai-jen Poo comes to Yarmouth Thursday.

WEST YARMOUTH – Growing caregiver needs and solutions will be discussed today in Yarmouth.

The panel discussion is part of the “Caring Across America” book tour for Ai-Jen Poo’s book, “The Age of Dignity.”

Poo will be urging Cape Cod residents to proactively have “Care Conversations” with family members.

The discussion will include asking town officials what will be done to support caregiving needs on the Cape.

The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Yarmouth Senior Center on Forest Road in West Yarmouth.
