FALMOUTH – A temporary parking ban is in effect this week in Woods Hole and Falmouth Heights as the town installs new parking meters.
The meters, which will accept coins and credit cards and are solar powered, will be installed on Water Street, Luscombe Avenue, Railroad Avenue, MBL Street, North Street, Grand Avenue, Robbins Road and Clinton Avenue.
Work on the larger streets will be completed in sections on different days.
“No parking – Temporary Police Order” signs will be posted on meters under construction.
Vehicles parked in no parking spots may be ticketed or towed.
