Partnership formed For Nursing Education

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The new Cape Cod Healthcare Nurse Continuing Education Fund has decided on the Cape Cod Foundation to be its administrator.

The fund’s goal is to advance education and promote the provision of healthcare to the residents and visitors of the Cape.

Grants will be awarded to nurses who are eligible and working for a Barnstable County nonprofit healthcare provider.

Cape Cod Healthcare President and CEO Michael Lauf says the initiative will provide more incentive and resources to those who are  pursuing  a career in nursing.

Applicants who are eligible will receive a $10,000 grant paid over a period of three years.

Cape Cod Healthcare is a leading provider for the Cape, with over 5000 employees and 800 volunteers.

There are several eligibility requirements.  For more information, contact The Cape Cod Foundation.
