Paul DeMeo Memorial Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Dream Day

POCASSET – The second Paul DeMeo Memorial Motorcycle Run will be held later this month as part of Dream Day on Cape Cod.

This year’s ride on September 22 will be a Poker Run and will culminate with the family festival at Dream Day in Brewster.

Registration with breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. at Cape Cod Harley Davidson in Pocasset and the ride ends in Brewster.

The cost is $25 per rider and $15 per passenger and non-riders. The event benefits Dream Day

The event is named after DeMeo, who lived on Cape Cod for nearly 40 years and served his country in Vietnam. He also worked at Shepley Wood Products for 20 years and that’s where Paul became involved with Dream Day of Cape Cod.

DeMeo lost his battle with brain cancer just seven months after being diagnosed at the age of 65.

Dream Day on Cape Cod is a non-profit organization based in Brewster, Massachusetts, dedicated to bringing respite into the lives of children with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Dream Day is also a recipient of this year’s Seaside Le Mans races on Septermber 8 in Mashpee.
