Provincetown Community Television Recognized With Regional Award

PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Community Television (PTV) has been recognized by the Alliance for Community Media – Northeast Region with the 2016 Overall Excellence award for Community Media Centers with a budget of less than $200,000.

The award honors the station for the effectiveness of its public, educational and government programming efforts, the diversity of the programming, and its value to the community.

Executive Director of PTV Amy Davies said the station’s “gavel to gavel” coverage of government meetings allows residents and other parties the ability to engage with local government from any location and encourages participation.
